This half term, each class has been studying a different world religion. Members of our Rights-Respecting Steering Group led an assembly in which each class shared some of the knowledge they had developed about each faith:
Year 1 - Christianity
Year 2 - Islam
Year 3 - Hinduism
Year 4 - Judaism
Year 5 - Sikhism
Year 6 - Buddhism
The children talked about some of the similarities and differences between the religions.
This links to Article 14 of the UNCRC: Every child has the right to think and believe what they want and to practise their religion as long as they are not stopping others from enjoying their rights.

In the Spring/Summer term he will be asking the Eco-Council to lead a competition across school to design some art work for the new signs
