Nursery 2024 - 2025

Welcome to Lyme Nursery!

We are a class of 20 children aged 3 and 4 years old. Our class teacher is Mrs Lawrenson and our Teaching Assistant is called Gill. 

We have morning sessions 8.45am until 11.45am and afternoon sessions 12.15pm until 3.15pm with some children choosing to stay full days with wrap around care. 

Most children wear our school uniform, this is recommended but is optional. 

We do PE in the hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays and ask for our children to wear PE kit on those days (black joggers/leggings and trainers)

As we promote a love of reading, library books and a bag are given out to all children as they start Nursery and these can be changed at any time by parent/carers. The library is situated behind the door in the Nursery cloakroom area.

We are a shared FS unit with our Reception class. Throughout the year we will be developing our independence and learning lots of new things in our well-resourced indoor and outdoor areas. Keep checking our page for our latest newsletter and photographs we share to showcase our special achievements.
