Safeguarding

SAFEGUARDING.JPG

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.

At Lyme Community Primary School we respect and value all children and are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all our pupils so they can learn, in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.

We believe every pupil should be able to participate in all school all aspects of school life in an enjoyable and safe environment and to be protected from harm. We recognise that every adult working in with our children - whether as an employee or delivering  a service (both on or away from the school premises) - is responsbile for safeguarding them.

It is our responsibility to safeguard all who access school and promote the welfare of all our pupils by protecting them from physical, sexual and emotional abuse, neglect and bullying.

We create an environment in which everyone has right to feel safe and valued. To find out more about this, please look at the policies and information documents under the 'Safeguarding' tab.

If you have any concerns or worries, please contact school and we will be able to connect you to someone to help support you and/or your child. We have dedicated Pastoral Support, Mrs Lammond who can support and advise you with any concerns you may have around safeguarding, attendance and mental health.
