 Roman Trip to Chester 

On Thursday, we went to the old Roman fortress of Dewa (Chester). After a morning of fact finding, archaeology work, and dressing up as Romans, we headed outside to the old Roman walls. We each had a Roman shield and were taught different formations that the Roman army would form and what their equipment was called. Mr Leather and Mrs Bradbury were turned into gladiators and had a fight but our Roman leader ended up executing Theo. It was a great day and we all can’t believe that we live so close to the Roman Fortress of Dewa.
